Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that uses a group of tiny acupuncture needles at the end of a device to stimulate collagen production in the skin. During microneedling, a handheld device with tiny needles punctures the skin, creating micro-injuries that trigger the body to produce new collagen and elastin. Microneedling is generally safe and well-tolerated, but there are some people who should not undergo the procedure, including those with: Active acne, Active herpes labialis or other localized infection, Moderate-to-severe chronic skin diseases, Extreme keloidal scar tendencies, and Immunosuppressed conditions.

Meet The Practitioner
Renee Tracy is a general TCM practitioner who employs the methods of Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Functional Medicine, nutritional supplements, and dietary recommendations. She specializes in orthopedic style acupuncture, pain management, gastrointestinal disorders, and internal Chinese Medicine. She is a licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist by the Massachusetts State Board of Medicine. Renee graduated from one of the country's oldest and most academically rigorous Chinese medicine schools here in the United States accomplishing both knowledge and skill at the top of her class. Renee is also a graduate of Boston's prestigious Simmons College with a degree in Nutrition Science. Simmons College is one of the country's oldest and first all girls school cultivating leading edge female intellectual leadership and professional work experience since 1899. She has also had her own professional medical practice for over two decades offering her patients healing, balancing, and quality care.

I have been going to Reneè for over a year now. What amazes me is how she adapts my weekly sessions to what I need at the time. As my treatment protocols change, my side effects change. Reneè continually makes the adjustments to sessions as well. She listens and asks questions and even makes suggestions regarding other complimentary things I can do. She has been willing to work with my doctors at Dana Farber so not to conflict with the protocols I am on currently especially related to herbal medicine.
